Terrible Stench

there is a terrible smell to the inside of the machine if i keep the door closed. it’s like a musty damp smell as if there’s water somewhere in the machine. the repair man came out and could not detect it at the time . he did give me some hints and i’m hoping it works its way out. unfortunately i had no choice to buy this washer as samsung was one of only a few that offered compact machines that would fit in the small space i had in my new condo.very very dissatisfied!

second day of owning this washer and i already had to put a service request in… drum started to spin very loudly/shaking the machine after only two uses (one yesterday delievery day and one today). i’m hoping this will be the only service needed, but i’m nervous. i will update my review after the service.

bought this washer in 2019 and it's already broken after less than 2 years of very standard residential use. took two weeks for a technician to come out, and now another 3 weeks to repair at a cost of $615. the washer itself only costs $800. don't buy this machine.

we took over a condo 2 months ago with this samsung ww22k6800aw washer & dryer. although extremely noisy, we have had no issue and it seemed to be much better than other front loaders i have used particularly in terms of odor. however, this evening we are unable to open the door after the cycle ended today. we ran the wash 2 more times and still cannot open it. although i know it cycled through as i watched it count down from one minute remaining, when i restarted the cycle it indicated there were 37 minutes on the dial. i have no idea why this happened or what to do but cannot open the door of this washer. once the cycle ended, there are no lights, codes, flashing signals. what to do? i cannot pull this stacked set from it's space to access the hoses.

I really enjoy how quiet and efficient this machine is? It is on the small size so perfect for a apartment and it’s not too noisy if you put the spin at medium speed
