this january we’ve been using this stove 2 years. the range top quit working today. it made sizzling sounds after turning the burners on and smoke came out. we unplugged it from the wall. we bought almost 10,000 worth of samsung appliances. in less than two years we had the washer machine completely die. the ice maker broke twice and now the range is dead. this is our third house we bought samsung appliances for and we are absolutely done. this is horrible.

based on this experience i will never purchase another samsung appliance again. the knobs are easily knocked "on" which happened and caused a pot to burn and crack the cooktop. thankfully it did not burn down my house and now i have to keep the knobs completely off the range unless i am cooking. highly inefficient and unattractive. but worse is the customer service - total lack of it. they could not find a vendor to service the repair in my area and i had to take care of it myself with the "promise" of reimbursement. this happened back in feb 2020. it's now nov 2020...still no reimbursement.

what a stove! it is gorgeous. there are a couple drawbacks. with the knobs in the front, it is easy to bump them and turn them. the oven is huge and the warming/pan storage drawer is smaller. one thing that i missed was the lip that goes over the counter on each side. i did not see that when i looked at it and only realized it when it was installed. it made us remodel our kitchen though!

the burner top control buttons turn on with any little bump. we, as adults, had this happen way to many times. never had this problem from other ovens.

the temperature probe was not included. the 2 timers i was most excited about are worthless since the alarm is so quiet i miss it with normal kitchen activity/noise level
