I bought it because of the Bluetooth feature, but I didn’t know that that feature only works with a Bluetooth stove.
No connectivity to new Range

this product does not connect to my brand new samsung range. the website says it has wifi connectivity which it does not . i am frustrated that my brand new $2200 range with wifi technology and $1100 hood cannot connect. it also not connect to the smartthings app (this is bizzare) why would you make your own product that does not connect to your own app. very much disappointed.
Poor Connectivity Technology

I provide a review with this same subject line 3 days ago. I received prompt follow-up from the Samsung Customer Service. The feedback, however, is the root of the issue. 1) The Customer Service contact informed me that the two (hood and range) should connect. Their own organization does not even understand that they do not nor which ones properly connect and 2) I was asked to connect with SmartThings Customer Service to correct the issue. I already did that prior to my first review. They are the ones that let me know the items did not connect. Again, totally disappointed in a full kitchen suite, refrigerator, dishwasher, range and hood, where 3 of the items all connect via SmartThings app and one, even with Bluetooth, cannot. I stick by my original feedback. Poor execution of technology by Samsung.
It does not have wifi as advertised

this hood does not have wifi connectivity. found out after it was installed ... and i stayed for hour and a half with support as they also had no idea. it is advertised here and on all reseller sites that it has wifi connectivity and you can control it from an app, but that is wrong and it does not have it. it has only bluetooth and there is no gas range that supports it.
Good, but does not sync with range

happy with the fan, reasonably quiet, powerful, stylish and easy to clean filters (just throw them in the dishwasher). however, does not sync with my top-of-the-line samsung range/oven with wi-fi. samsung, please release a firmware update that will enable this feature!
