we have had the fridge for a week. it is a little weird to control the settings with an app on my phone instead of the fridge itself. the ice maker seems super slow. i could fill 3, 36oz cups of ice before the door ice maker ran out. the freezer ice drawer, the ice looks wet, like it is not keeping fully frozen. when you get water out of the door, there is no bottom holder for overspill drips of water, so the water drips down the door of my beautiful shiny new fridge. have to wipe every time or will stain. i thought a part was missing, but it's not. love the fridge space and the freezer space otherwise.

the improvements made here get in the way of the performance. moving the water filter reduces the size of the crisper drawers. the new door bins allow for nothing of size on the left and those on the right are deep requiring you to reach in for a butter dish which is very awkward. the unit arrived with a mullion that didn't flip out of the way to allow easy door closing. a service call told me it had been installed wrong but his fix lasted only a day so closing the doors is a two-handed operation. the 2nd ice bin eats valuable space in the freezer. and does a refrigerator really need wifi and alexa? on the other hand, i like the fingerprint-proof stainless.

the good: quiet, spacious. the not-so-good: will not run on eaton dual function (ground/arc fault gfci) breaker...trips them within two minutes. unfortunately, dual function gfci breakers are required by code in texas if the outlet is within 6 feet of the sink. i called samsung to have them figure out where the fridge is leaking current. they would not send out a tech unless i had a licensed electrician determine that my circuitry is functioning properly......it is....it cost me $360 to have the electrician tell me what i already knew. so, the samsung tech comes out and proceeds to tell me it can't be the fridge, must be my wiring, and leaves without even looking at the fridge. i was able to run the plug to a single arc fault circuit under the sink. not ideal, but its running.

was installed recently and works fine. my previous samsung refrigerator bought 9 years ago was freasing inside and was requiring to disconnect for meltdown every 3 month. finally we have replaced it with this one. will see in a couple month how it will work.

this is a waste of money, issues started a few months right after the year warranty expired. we had to defrost the back panel because the fan was frozen over causing the food to spoil since it wasn't cooling enough. now the bottom freezer has stopped working and repairs are looking to be $350-$400 fan motor will need to be replaced. to top it all off, i called for support and spoke to a rude csr who did not care about my issue, has no empathy, and refused to escalate my concern.
