so i bought the new 8800 washer/dryer combo along with the samsung stacking kit. i also ordered the multi control kit. it was out of stock so after waiting for almost 3 months it came in finally. well when i tried to hook it up the dryer side of the cord is too short and will not reach the dryer input port. i don't get it. i do not see multiple options depending upon the machine models. once again just terrible attention to detail. now if i do not connect the bracket and just use the cord portion it does work to control both units. this is not the intended design or installation however.

i bought the 8800 pair of washer/dryer sept ’21 & love these machines, also ordered this part. the machines were pretty new on the market when i bought them so i am now researching to see if there is a new model of multicontrol kit (and came up with idea to leave this review) as the leads on the kit do not reach on the big 8800 machines! by not attaching to the machines where they stack it can fit, however it still almost never works. i have spent hours on phone to samsung support being passed from dept to dept. i had a samsung approved tradesman identify the problem, but to replace it i was told it would cost $hundreds to send someone out & replace it. this is ridiculous samsung! have you worked out the part doesn't fit the 8800 machines yet and created a new model? or a remedy for this?
