We bought this oven/range in July used the air fryer 1st time and it worked perfect Second third time didnt work. Called for service serviceman looked at it couldnt figure out the problem he called to ask questions. He hung up and told me that the person he talked to said my oven/range has feelings and it will only work when it feels like it. Packed his bag and left. Still doesnt work and no one will do anything about it.

Literally this range has been a nightmare. Only one burner seems to be calibrated appropriately- some boil on low and one doesnt even boil on high. The oven is inconsistently off by around 30 degrees and doesnt keep a constant temperature most of the meals made in it are trash. Maybe this is atypical of LG I LOVE my washer and dryer I purchased before you couldnt find workers and there werent supply chain issues. My suggestion is wait to purchase any big appliances until people start working again and better materials are being made.

The oven takes too long to pre-heat and the knobs on the front get bumped all the time - bad placement. Also the stovetop gets scratched very easily - just by moving a pan - not good.

Range great looking until the ceramic cooktop gets scratched which is very easy to do apparently from reviews I have now looked up online from other customers no matter how careful you are. I am new to ceramic stovetops and electric range. Had a gas cooktop and due to high propane prices decided to go with electric. This is only two weeks old and we had a tech come out to look at the cooktop and he said there were slight scratches on burner and it was due to customer care not LG defect. How can you use this without it being scratched???? I was told by LG rep on phone call dont move pots. What kind of answer is that? This is an appliance that gets used everyday by people and no matter how careful you are its going to happen. Not under warranty either. I was so excited to receive this range now I dont know how excited I will be going forward. It took much research and time to decide and nowhere in the specs did it say it was a ceramic top just a smooth surface. Now how do you get rid of any scratches? If it gets so bad and looks like crap can you replace the cooktop through LG??? This was not cheap by any means now I fear it will look cheap due to it being so easy to scratch. I hope you have an answer for this because I got nowhere with customer service when I called and was switched over to four different people who didnt have an answer how to deal with this. I chose LG because I thought they would stand behind their product but I guess not. I guess research is needed to see how I can keep this looking new. Very disappointed where the cooktop is concerned. I dont want LGs standard response it wont make me feel any better.

very good range only negitive is the knobs on the front. they turn on yo easily not good for household with young children. can be a safty hazard.
