this stove was great until the warranty expired. almost immediately after we started having problems. we've had the control panel replaced 3 times. the ignitor is finicky and sometimes the oven heats other times it doesn't. i result wanted to love this stove but will be going back to ge for a replacement. which, btw, i shouldn't have to do after 3 years...

the grate rusted and the cook surface paint chip off after couple of months use. customer service said this is not covered under the warranty and there is nothing they can do to help, we can call service but will need to pay!

after the manufacturer warranty: steam will trigger control panel buttons, oven not heating properly, one burner takes an extended time to light, app will trigger functions without your use

1. steam triggers random button presses. 2. no cooking control from app. 3. two burner knobs have fallen apart. 4. the lock-buttons function does not unlock.

The sides of the stove are black as is some of the trim. From the front the stove looks fine but from the side the appearance is disappointing in our white kitchen. Had I known the sides were black I would have ordered white. Also, the sides are heavily ribbed and it looks like this stove was not intended to have an exposed side. A stove marketed as freestanding should be cosmetically good from the sides.
