after less than two years, the heating mechanism has randomly broken...of course just a few months after the expiration of the warranty.

GRIDDLE BURNER NOT MEANT FOR COOKING!

I replaced all of the appliances in my home with Samsung products. This stove was the biggest disappointment! The griddle burner can only be used as a warmer. it is not strong enough to use to cook. We complained immediately and were told that we should have read the description closer, that it is meant for warming only! I feel this is false, it clearly calls this a 5th burner. The knobs are not metal! they are plastic and the guts broke within a year and the knobs now fall off. The fake metal coatingon the knobs started peeling shortly after and they now have bubbles. The oven takes a full 20 minutes to heat to 350 degrees which I find very strange and you cannot leave anything on the top of the stove while the oven is working because it blows out so much heat it cooks whatever is sitting on the back burners (It makes it like cooking with an old wood stove in the summer...too hot to use). On a good note the convection feature is very good and the 4 burners that work are good but the grids are too big for small pots and pans and the tend to teeter.

Bought this less than three years ago only to have the oven spontaneously stop working...stovetop works fine, digital area too, but can't get the oven working. Unbelieveable after less than three years of use.

After 4 years the oven burner stopped working and required service. This is the 3rd Samsung appliance in the past year that has required service after only 3-4 years of regular use. These appiances are priced at a premium but you do not get what you paid for. I'm ready to replace all of my appliances (which are all Samsung) with other, more reliable brands. They should just stick to electronics.
