keypad went out after warranty barely expired .lights and fan on unit work but boost function is inoperative and backlighting for all of the touchscreen is inop. would not reccomend samsung appliances to my worst enemy. i bought almost 8 grand worth of appliances and am regretting it a year later.

when trying to install it i noticed there was a discrepancy on what the installation manual shows and what i saw. clearly there was a electrical hookup part that was missing and i am not talking about the power cord. samsung customer service told the warranty does not cover missing parts. once i got a warranty claim in i realized that the agents do not have the knowledge about this product and i asked to speak with a manager i was told someone will call me back. in the meantime i am stuck with a brand new hood on the garage floor, and no help from customer service. this weekend i will try returning it to bestbuy. i doubt it will work. it has been more than 15 days since i purchased the hood.

just like the other reviews, only owned for 2 yrs and the power won't turn on. warranty is only for 1 yr so will need to pay out of pocket to have it fixed... way too expensive to have it breakdown after 2 yrs.
Lights Stopped Working

Just after my warranty expired the LED lights stopped working. You can press the button, it makes the obnoxious click sounds it's supposed to make, but no lights turn on. The problem was intermittent at first, but now I can press the button 20+ times on and off with no lights.
