When I needed to replace the activated charcoal air filter on my LG over-the-range microwave I went straight to the LG online parts store. Ive learned the hard way not to waste time with inferior substandard replacement parts that dont fit fail prematurely or dont work at all. The replacement filter is exactly the same as the original equipment and fit perfectly no messing around. The part was in stock shipped quickly and arrived in good condition. Nice job LG.

I purchased the microwave last winter because its fan was highly rated. I have been happy with the microwave and ordered a replacement charcoal filter as recommended after several months of use. I received it went to install it and was quite surprised to discover that the microwave has been installed with no filter. I am expecting exceptional filtering now that I actually have a filter.

This was my first experience with a LG product I purchased the. microwave over 4 years ago. Unit performs really well I like that the microwave has multiple filters on the unit especially the exhaust filter which I have change the filter with a new LG Filter 5230W1A003A easy to remove and install and removes more fumes that emit from cooking. I recommend LG They stand behind their products 100 Percent.

My previous very very old microwave didnt have a replaceable filter. Im so happy to have a replacement that does and keeping the filters replaced as they get clogged because they work so well removing greasy particulates especially keeps cooking odors under control. I found the filter a little tricky to replace the first time how you slide off the plastic cover and then snap filter in place but now Ive got the hang of it.
