Which Samsung Family HUB is right for you?
An interesting and challenging question to answer. One that honestly depends on your taste, budget, and spatial availability. Do you have the ability to reasonably afford a $3900 fridge? Is your kitchen equipped to fit in a 70” tall fridge that’s 35” wide? Does it look visually appealing to you? Would you prefer it to be fingerprint and smudge resistant?
These are all questions that you’ll have to ask yourself before considering getting one of these refrigerators. All of that being said, here are a few options and their respective specs!
2017 3-Door Samsung Family Hub
The first one I’ll be talking about is the 2017 model 3-door French Door HUB fridge.It has all kinds of nifty features! This one clocks in at around $2400 and it’s a French door style with an 21.5’ LED display on the left door. It’s fully WiFi compatible and has 3 cameras that allow you to peek into your fridge without even opening the door! Useful when you’re in a hurry and making a shopping list and don’t want to open the door while you write!
It’s a standard capacity fridge, boasting a whole 24 cu. ft. of space on the inside. The bottom of this fridge functions as a freezers and simply pulls open so that you have a top down view of the inside. It comes in a standard stainless steel and black, fingerprint resistant, stainless steel. A feature that can be useful if you have children in your household.
It’s also EnergyStar certified and comes with an external water and ice dispenser.
All round this fridge is a pretty good choice for a family.
4-Door French door Samsung Family HUB
Now this one is obviously structured a little differently than the first one mentioned. This fridge has two drawers below the main fridge area. The first drawer offers the ability to divide it into four sections, each with their own temperature range! You can store regular drinks and snacks in it on the chill setting, or you can soft freeze food that you’ll be using for the day. It’s perfect height for your children to access if you have any!
This one also features 3 cameras that allow you to access the interior of the fridge without opening it. A difference with this one compared to the first is that it comes with the intelligent Bixby assistant! Perfect for if you’re planning a date with your partner and you need ideas on where to go!
It also has a larger capacity than the first one, boasting 28 cu. ft. of storage space. The screen remains the same size at 21.5”. All-in-all this fridge is an excellent choice if you have smaller children that can’t quite reach the main storage area of the fridge!
This one is about $2900 brand new!
Counter Depth 4-door Samsung Family HUB
The final fridge is another unique piece! It has four doors that open vertically, giving it a streamlined appearance. It comes in the same stainless steel and black, fingerprint resistant stainless steel that the other two do.
It has a smaller capacity at only 22 cu. ft. but every inch of that space is usable. Being 72” tall and 35” wide gives it a nice, built in look that so many people seem to favor these days!
This fridge offers so much that it’s easily one of the most popular ones Samsung stocks. You can control multiple devices on the 21.5” touch screen, including your lights and thermostat. Heck you can even monitor the nursery if you wanted to!
Like the other two, it’s EnergyStar certified, so you’ll be paying less overall with it too!
The only drawback this beautiful fridge has is that it’s $4800. Considering all it offers though, it may be worth spending the extra to get it, if you can!
Conclusions
All of these offer a veritable treasure trove of features and advantages. Mind you that all of the prices of these are the retail price from Samsung themselves. Places like Happys Appliances offer these fridges at much lower prices, if only because they may have cosmetic flaws.
Honestly, it’d be more than worth it to get one of these fridges. And they’re a great conversation piece when you host holiday parties!
