Beko was founded in Istanbul, Turkey in 1967. The company is a subsidiary of Arçelik A.Ş. Since that time, their name recognition has continued to grow, and they are now currently the #1 appliance brand in Europe. They are the official sponsor of the Turkish, Italian and Lithuanian basketball leagues, as well as the wildly popular Spanish football club FC Barcelona. With this rise in popularity, Beko has decided to expand their product line into the United States and over 100 other countries worldwide!
